The Michigan Grand Design Owners Rally is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together Grand Design RV owners from not only Michigan, but across the country. The Michigan event has become one of the most highly sought after rallies to attend by Grand Design owners. Even with being one of the larger rallies, we are still able to keep that small family feeling.

How it all Started

In early 2017, a post was created on the GDRV Imagine owners Facebook page making light of the large number of Imagine RV's that were being seen in Michigan. It was on this post where the topic of a possible camp out/get together was brought up. Jason & Amanda, along with two other owners decided to take on coordinating this gathering. Okay... well maybe we were "pre-selected" or "voluntold" by some of the other owners. LOL. A few short weeks later, the event occurred in Monroe MI. There was no schedules, no coordination, no vendors. It was simply show up, and camp here. There were 20 units at this event. It was at that time, Jason & Amanda realized not only how much they enjoyed this event, but also how much everyone else did as well. In 2018 another Imagine get together was held in Birch Run MI. This event had just over 50 units and was much more coordinated. Given GDRV's growth and the demand to attend the Michigan event, we made the decision in 2018 this event could no longer be restricted to just Imagine owners. In May of 2019 the Michigan Rally was officially born. Pictured is the first Imagine get together in 2017.

The Wagonmasters

Jason & Amanda have been Grand Design owners since late 2015 and have been involved with the rally from the beginning. They have a son J.J. & a daughter Lauren. Lauren is a Jr. Wagonmaster as she enjoys helping with rally operations and our Kidz Club events.

Jason & Amanda are also the Administrators for the Momentum Owners Facebook Group and the (OFFICAL) Imagine Owners Facebook Group.

Jason & Amanda are just weekend warriors right now with hopes to go full time in the future.

The Lead Volunteer Team

To put it boldly, this rally has the best team! The Michigan rally has been blessed with four absolutely amazing husband-wife couples that volunteer their time though-out the year to create this amazing event. The Lead Volunteer Team is an extension of the Wagonmasters and intricately involved in the planning process. They are like the gears of a fine watch that make everything mesh together perfectly. If you see them at the rally (trust me, you will see them lol) please thank them for their hard work and dedication to this event.

This event would not be everything that it is without them!
